Post Graduate Opportunities

Postgraduate opportunities are available in several Universities either as taught or research programmes. University College Dublin, University of Limerick, Trinity College Dublin and Royal College of Surgeons Ireland offer post graduate training for Physiotherapists.

University College Dublin

University of Limerick

University of Limerick offers the following post graduate certificates for qualified physiotherapists.

MSc in Advanced Healthcare Practice is also available as a taught programme, Research opportunities are also available for Masters and Structured PhD degrees.

Royal College of Surgeons Ireland

School of Postgraduate Studies

The School oversees higher degrees (PhD, MD, MCh and MSc) by research, postdoctoral training and workshops for supervisors and thesis examiners. It also oversees taught Masters Programmes within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. Physiotherapy forth level courses available include:

·         MSc/Postgraduate Diploma Neurology and Gerontology

·         Opportunities to achieve PhD or MSc by research are also offered by the School of Physiotherapy.
